Praised Be Jesus Christ

I just wanted to thank the Dominican Contemplative Sisters of Lockport, LA. Especially Sister Mary Imelda. I was just looking back at some of the conversations that Sister Mary Imelda and I had a year ago. I miss talking with Sister and I can remember what it felt like to be IMing a cloistered nun. I just want to hug Sister for helping me so much... I miss her and Mother too! If it weren't for these wonderful Sisters, I would be part of the perpetual discerners club. They have been such a wonderful blessing and it is such a grace that they have helped with my discernment. May God reward them! If you feel that you have a call to the religious life, please, please, please check out these wonderful and blessed Sisters! 	Deborah January 2, 2006 05:54 PM PST Angela, It has been quite interesting and enlightening reading your comments! I made a discernment retreat with the Tyringham Visitation Nuns not long ago. I will be going back again this month for nine days. It is my hope, if Our Lord will it, to enter there within a year. There is much for me to wrap here first unfortunately. I am quite familiar with the Poor Clares. Have you decided to enter yet?

Praised be Jesus Christ! Hello to you and your Guardian Angel! Welcome to my simple little blog! There is not too much going on other than a little view on my discernment path. I feel called to be a cloistered nun, particularly a Poor Clare Colettine. Currently I am a freshman at Elmhurst College majoring in art.
